Tutoring
As part of our commitment to your child’s success, we are pleased to offer this opportunity for students needing extra support in their course load or needing hours of meaningful engagement.
Here are some details about the After-School Peer Tutoring & Meaningful Engagement Program:
- Schedule: Sessions will be held this Fall Semester on Wednesdays after school until 5:00.
- Location: The sessions will take place in the cafeteria
- Who: Ms. Guzman, another teacher, and the available volunteer peer tutors
- Eligibility: Must have a permission form on file to stay after and have completed that week’s Google Form sent out by Ms. Guzman.
- **Weekly Google Forms are sent directly to student emails at 8:00 am Monday-Wednesday for students to sign up to stay for that week's session. The cut-off date/time to register is 12:00 p.m. on the Wednesday of that week’s session to ensure accurate transportation.**
Participation in this program is voluntary but highly recommended for students aiming to improve their grades or earn meaningful engagement hours to recover absences.

Please note that bus transportation is not provided for every session. Transportation registration is required as these are not the same buses your child rides to and from school. These buses are specifically routed for only our students here at Galileo participating in this program.
