26-27 Application Directions (Espanol)
Galileo Magnet High School (grades 9–12) offers a unique academic experience through the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP). Students also have access to honors, AP, dual enrollment, and traditional courses.
The MYP (grades 9–10) emphasizes inquiry-based learning, critical thinking, and real-world connections. In grades 11–12, students enter the rigorous DP, which includes multi-language study and global issue exploration. The DP is internationally recognized for preparing students for college and beyond.
Both IB programs foster problem-solving, collaboration, and academic independence. Galileo’s curriculum encourages students to think deeply and engage meaningfully with complex topics. Dedicated faculty guide students through a challenging and rewarding academic journey.
Eligibility Requirements:
Strong GPA
Strong performance on math and reading standardized assessments (Testing is required and will be scheduled upon receipt of application)
Grade Levels: 9-12

How to Apply: Online application for the 2026-2027 School Year will be open from October 20 to October 31, 2025 and January 1 to January 16, 2026.
